The client is one India’s largest omni-channel jeweller headquartered in Chennai, India. It has over 165 retail stores across 66+ Indian cities.
Needs
The client wanted to conduct the training program for 20 of its Individual Contributors who were going to take up the role of People Managers. The client wanted to utilize this program for evaluation of their future potential leaders on the below given themes/ competencies:
- Mindset shift from IC to Manager (Growth Mindset, Emotional Intelligence)
- Doing to Delegating (Delegation, Situational Leadership)
- Developing People (Giving Receiving Feedback, Coaching and Mentoring)
Approach
Meeraq designed a highly experiential two months intervention in hybrid mode with 2 one-day in-person sessions and 4 virtual sessions of 4 hours each. It was further strengthened by Meeraq’s training program features like:

Impact
- The training led to a notable 11.6% increase in overall competency ratings (from 3.71 to 4.14), demonstrating a clear enhancement in participants’ confidence and ability to handle their roles effectively.
- 30% of the participants were promoted to the next level, demonstrating the program’s effectiveness in enhancing leadership capabilities and preparing employees for advanced roles.
- The training fostered a significant mindset shift among participants, enabling them to transition from individual contributors to confident managers. They demonstrated a stronger growth mindset and improved emotional intelligence.
