Client
The organization is a key player in India’s banking sector, focusing on providing financial services to underserved and unbanked populations. With a broad network of branches, it offers inclusive solutions like savings accounts, loans, and insurance.
Needs
The client hosts a leadership offsite every year to align top leadership with organizational vision. This year’s offsite program’s focus is on tackling the attrition through Retaining Talent & Enhancing Productivity as the entire financial sector is grappled with approx. 30% attrition rate.
The objective is to refine leadership strategies for new hires, emphasizing support, coaching, respect, engagement, and motivation to boost retention and productivity.
Approach
We designed an intervention with half day game based program and Meeraq’s signature LAP model for effective action implementation of learning post program
The session featured two team activities to be conducted in 20 groups of 20 participants each focused on understanding managerial decisions in team transitions based on participants performance in activities
Facilitators observed participants behaviour related to
- Decisions to release team members
- Hiring processes by other teams
- Strategies managers use to retain top talent
- Engagement levels within teams
Following the activities, there was a group debriefing session aimed at identifying:
- Opportunities for managers to improve handling of team transitions
- Leaders roles in reducing attrition and fostering talent retention
Post Session the participants underwent Meeraq’s Signature 1:1 Action Coaching & Group Progress Check-ins.
